Raising a child far from home is one of the most beautiful and quietly hard things. No grandparents around the corner. No aunties who just show up. No neighbours who already know your family's way of doing things.We are not experts in being perfect parents.

Who are we?

We are two immigrant women in Berlin. One of us has a 2.5-year-old and has come through the other side. The other is trying to get pregnant, navigating the German system without her people around her. This podcast is the thing we needed and couldn't find.

 

So we recorded it.

We've been collecting the people, the stories and the information that actually help. This is where we document all of it — honestly, messily, for every one of us figuring it out far from home.
